I hope all of you had an amazing challenge and are ready for a new one. Here is how my challenge went:
I also discovered that my sleep was better quality when I meditated right before bed, but that I need to get to sleep earlier so that I do not sleep during the meditation. February: De-clutter for 30 min every day. either your physical spaces or your virtual spaces. I am starting today and going a day into March. We have spent the month de-cluttering out mind, now we need to de-clutter our space. I am starting today, by cleaning the surface stuff in the house and then systematically getting rid of whatever does not either bring me joy, usefulness or, happy memories. now those of you with perfectly clean homes and offices, may want to clear out old e-mails, phone messages, photos. Essentially getting rid of anything that is draining your energy, Some of you may do this with people in your life that are draining you. you may spend your 30 minutes deciding how much time you want to take back for yourself. Where in your life can you say the word "no". I wish you luck on this challenge and will be here for support and inspiration. I will aslo post pictures of my progress here!

Here we are in the last five days of the challenge and I am still trying new ways to bring meditation into my daily life. This week I did meditation before sleep on most days but yesterday I did movement. I used my workout as a time to meditate and it cleared my head and my body. I highly recommend using meditation music or a repetitive activity to meditate to.

Help, I think My child is an Empath! What can I do to help them? Answer: The easiest and quickest way to help your child with their gift is to do the following steps: 1. Explain what an Empath is 2. Ok so now that I have your attention, do you know how intuitive you actually are? Do you know how many things are blocking you natural ability? Well in this series of blogs I will help you to uncover these blocks and find your inner psychic! Part 1: There are a number of things that surround us every day that are blocking our intuition. Some of it we have control over and some things are beyond our control. You are however your own best psychic. Let’s start outside of ourselves. Light Pollution: When we are surrounded by too much light we loose out on sleep and a natural awareness of time of day. As a child I was able to tell the time of day within 10 minutes based on feeling, light, and sun location. As an adult, with cell phones every where, and light crawling through all windows all the time, I have lost some of this. Don’t even get me started on daylight savings time. This is one of those things that cannot be helped unless you live in an area with light ordinances. Yes they exist, many cities have limits on the amount of light that can be emitted at night. While you cannot control your city without moving, you can have a bedroom that is conducive to aiding your natural cycles. Try black out curtains or an eye mask. Also keep the electronic light to a minimum; cell phones, clocks, computers, or anything else that is bright enough to keep you awake. These two simple steps will help you to find your own natural cycle and increase the healthy benefits of normal Melatonin production. Now how does this aid your psychic ability? Well, whenever you are out of your natural cycles you will also be throwing off your intuitive connection. The closer you are to your natural state, the closer you are to your higher self and tapping into all that knowledge from your higher consciousness.By reducing light pollution you also help your clairvoyance (clear seeing) ability, by allowing you to “see” through the veil of the 3rd dimension. Take some time each week to experience the darkness, real darkness. I recommend this while sleeping or meditating. When you meditate in the darkness, you may find that your inner vision really starts to soar. Now in the beginning it may be your own imagination, but with enough practice you will begin to see your Guardian Angels and Spirit Guides. With a long enough practice of meditation and normal light cycles, you may be able to see through the veil all together.
